Each studio class begins with the sketchbook experience. Students are given a sketch book at the first class and will begin to journal whatever they wish, by using a variety of media at the start of each class gathering. Doodles, drawings, scribbles; this is all art and the bound book will be a ritual the children will quickly fall into and appreciate as they get to review their work weekly.
